Brewery and the Beast in Accident, MD, blends craft beer with smoked meats and inventive cuisine, sourcing from regional farms to keep menus seasonal and bold. The restaurant evolved from a food truck into a full destination. Mighty Yough Farms supplies oyster and lion’s mane mushrooms. We have been dazzled to see chef Craig’s inventiveness with mushroom-infused dishes such as chicken marsala and vegan General Tso’s. What makes Brewery & the Beast stand out is their view of farms not as vendors but collaborators, weaving our stories into every plate. It’s a model of how local farming and culinary innovation can work together, giving mushrooms a starring role in food experiences that highlight the strength of Western Maryland’s food community.
